I thourght the Eames showed a great Knolege about structure which they gained thoguh out trial and error this was show when they designed the Lounge chair they Had a amazing under standing of form follows function for example this picture below shows a regular lounge chair and the Eames loung chair It still has the basics but is altered to create an apealling and memorable design without being ugly.
